The 2 gallon kit is practically 2 wash bags 220 µm and 190 µm, and 6 filter bags of different grades 160 µm, 120 µm, 90 µm, 73 µm, 45 µm, and 25 µm all as 9 inch diameter bags. ACME Bags follow a specific color-micron sequence and each has a micron numbered label to help with a simple, secure, and faster setup in return easing your workload.The ACME Bags were designed for the extraction of trichomes, bulbous trichomes, or pistillate hairs while filtering out contaminants from leaf and plant materials. Our systems range from personal home use, to full-scale industrial applications and for medical research teams in the lab and field research expeditions.DimensionsThe height of the bag measures 11 inches, diameter of the upper section of the bag measures 9 inches and the diameter of the lower mesh section measures 8 inches, forming the tapered volume of our bag that suits all common buckets. ACME Bags are PVC free but do take advantage of a waterproof coating of PU or polyurethane applied to the fresh woven nylon. The nylon is woven tighter than the Micron Mesh but it would slip and result in sidewall openings and leaks, so the waterproofing also holds the slippery nylon weave in place, just like the Monofilament Mesh and the sewing threads are both heat treated to fix their position.Product CareThe bags are made with pure nylon designed and woven to our specifications for hundreds, and even thousand uses over decades, when properly cared for. For proper care wash every bag, gently with cold water, after each use, then simply hang and air dry your bags. For extra cleaning of contaminants dried onto the nylon or screen, soak, wash and give a second wash with a clean jeans weight cloth. Stay away from sun drying where possible, never use detergent or solvents for cleaning, and do not use warm or hot water. ACME nylon bag sidewalls and monofilament polyester mesh screens are assembled with triple-stitched seams to ensure professional and unfailing results. All our wash and filter systems are made with the appropriate micron sizes of reliable Swiss and European polyester monofilament mesh screens.
