This PTO clutch pigtail wiring harness is used on 469 specific Hustler models and counting. Warner Electric is the OEM supplier Hustler uses for the PTO clutch on the majority of their lawn mowers. This wiring harness is made by Warner Electric. Don’t be fooled by knockoffs or a very similar looking harness that does not include the diode. How can you tell if your harness has the diode? The diode is located in the middle of the wiring. It does not bend. If your harness bends in the middle, it does not contain the diode! The diode helps regulate the power to the clutch and extends its usefull life. How do I know if this part is correct? The Hustler Turf official website has all manuals for all models in the US. Please visit that site and find the ‘manual’ link under the support menu option dropdown. Enter your Hustler model number into the search bar and dive into the part of the manual that contains the clutch. Make sure the clutch wiring harness part number for your model is 791251.
