These bare-root garlic chive plants were grown in an organic vegetable garden. The green leaves have been trimmed to help ensure freshness during shipping and to encourage the roots to establish quickly in their new location. For best results, plant no more than 2–3 roots per hole in well-drained soil. This will help the plants grow into thick, healthy clumps. Garlic chives multiply quickly and will soon form a large, lush bunch. Plant in full sun or in a location that receives at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight each day. Feed with an organic fertilizer once or twice a year to promote vigorous growth. With proper care, these perennial garlic chives will return year after year, providing flavorful leaves and attractive edible flowers.
